Work continues at the Village to maintain and preserve the rich history of the Lincoln Pioneer Village cabins. Wood shingles are used on the roofs to maintain the historical look and feel of the cabins. These shingles will be used to replace the roof on Brown’s Inn.
November is a time when the village is filled with the rich hues of autumn and it’s easy to imagine that you have stepped back into another time. The setting sun would have been a time to gather up tools and retire to the warmth of the cabin’s fireplace and hopefully a hot meal waiting after a hard day’s work.
